Dear Hugger Community,

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our Hugger families as we embark on the 2023-2024 school year together.  Hugger is a tremendous school with a dedicated staff and fantastic students.  It truly is great to be a Hugger Husky!

This is my 34th year in education and I am proud that RCS has been my home for my entire career.  Like all of you, my family is incredibly important to me and I am so very proud of all of them.  My husband, Jack, is a business owner and we have 3 wonderful children and 2 grandchildren who keep us very busy outside of our professional lives.  

Hugger has a proud tradition of being a fabulous school providing a nurturing and caring learning environment for all students.  The Hugger staff strives to ensure success for all students and sets high standards for our students and ourselves.  The use of integrated technology, research-based best practice instruction and highly effective professional development for teachers are what creates an optimum learning experience at Hugger.

Parents play a critical role in their child's education and we encourage and invite you to volunteer in our school both in and out of the classroom.  There are multiple opportunities for parents to play an integral role in our building and we welcome you and appreciate your time and talent that you share with our students.

I wish you all a wonderful start to the school year and I am excited to see everyone as we begin our journey in learning together.
